Transition Tunbridge Wells

As part of Tunbridge Wells in Bloom 2010 we have planted up the quadrant flower bed outside Tunbridge Wells Library with a range of fruiting plants, vegetable plants and edible and flowers to show how attractive these can be.

The inspirational design was developed by Susan Walker and centres on an old reclaimed oil drum to symbolise the end of cheap oil.

It was planted up by a team from the Transition Food Group one Sunday morning in May and is being maintained by Susan and Tunbridge Wells Borough Council.
